I found the group format to be engaging and a great opportunity to meet fellow coaches. Julie’s style is relaxed and she made the group something I looked forward to.

My key take aways are the tailored feedback on my coaching, ideas for improvement, encouragement and a couple of practical tools to apply in my practice. A wonderful experience overall!

Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentials

Mentor coaching for an ICF credential involves receiving professional assistance from an experienced coach, referred to as a mentor coach. This process includes sessions where your coaching practice is observed. The primary aim is to develop your coaching abilities in accordance with the ICF Core Competencies.

You may choose between individual mentor coaching or group mentor coaching formats.

Those seeking an ICF credential must complete 10 mentoring hours, 3 of the 10 mentoring hours are required to be in the form of one-on-one coaching, 7 can be as a group.

These mentoring sessions need to be completed over a minimum 3 month period, see further details here:  https://coachingfederation.org/mentor-coaching/

Individual sessions offer one-on-one guidance tailored to your specific needs, while group mentoring allows you to learn collaboratively, benefiting from the diverse experiences and perspectives of peers.

Engaging the best ICF mentor coach for you provides you with a wealth of benefits. Your mentor will focus on listening to your sessions and providing feedback that is constructive and aligned with ICF standards. This process can help sharpen your coaching skills, making you more effective and confident in your practice.

Feedback in these sessions is more than just critique; it’s a supportive dialogue that promotes learning and professional growth. Whether through one-on-one mentorship or a group mentoring environment, you will gain insights and techniques that are crucial to your development as a certified coach.
